#swedenday3

No wifi in the last hotel!  Hash tags and pictures from yesterday:

#stockholmcityhall - according to the tour guide, you would think politics in Sweden is perfect.  I think it has something to do with the fact that they only have 10 million people to govern.  I was surprised to learn that all government documents are public record, a place a certain snowden would love.  It's ridiculous in my opinion.  Within reason, there are things I don't need to know about.

#officeview- if you work for the Stockholm legislature, this is your view.  Yes, please.

#nobelprizestairs - those are the stairs that the Nobel prize winners walk down for the banquet #nobelprizeforaccounting?

#nobelprizebanquetarea

#i'mjustabill - sitting in the stockholm legislature

#justpretty - view from legislature

#bling - mosaic with 23.5 karat gold tiles.  19 million tiles!

#swedishart - really?  Guide pointed out that boobs are different sizes and her feet are huge.  Apparently one boob had a heart overflowing for stockholm.  The feet were the solid base.  Whatever - add the horrible hair and you have a waste of gold tiles.

#nobel - one more time.

#riverrunsthroughit - beautiful little river through the lunch town we stopped in heading to Kalmar

#quaint - lunch town

#swedishbaroque - Lutheran church in Kalmar in Swedish baroque style

#dippingintothecellar - dinner in a 1600s cellar with a nice mother daughter duo from Seattle.  Great wine, food and conversation.

#bobbymcgee - concert in the center of Kalmar to round out the day

Other anecdotes, no pictures

#whoabusdriver - the bus driver is an incredibly hot bus driver.  And he's Dutch. #sorrymomiranawaywiththebusdriver

#oap - the group is getting interesting.  Oap in British speak is old age pensioner.  There are a lot of oaps on this trip, which is fine, because most are not oaps in actions.  I clarify most.  A few are scared of a map in their hands.

#cardshark - mother/daughter duo I've spent some time with love cards, so I've had fun reconnecting with my card playing skills.
